Annual Ornaments

Choose an individual ornament or collect one from each year. These Annual Ornaments are made exclusively for the Museum and showcase Dedham Pottery in our collection, or are our own designs.

Puzzles and Notecards

We currently offer two puzzle designs: a Dedham Pottery collage with examples from our collection, and the Moses Gragg double-sided Tavern Sign.

Dedham Pottery-Inspired Wares

While we do not offer original Dedham Pottery (1896-1943) for sale in our Gift Shop, you can purchase DP-inspired ceramics made by the Potting Shed and Nash Pottery. Like the original Dedham Pottery, both of these companies are no longer in business but you can find examples when you shop in our Gift Shop. There are many more examples than the selection shown here.

A Selection of Ornaments

In our Gift Shop, you’ll discover favorite hand-painted ornaments from Brick Pond Pottery, including several “Dedham” ornaments made exclusively for the museum.

We also offer hand-crafted decorative metal ornaments in whimsical designs.

Here is just a sample of what you’ll find.

Throws and Totes

Lover of Dedham Pottery? Show it with your own tote bag with the original Dedham Pottery logo. One side displays the crouching rabbit logo and the other side has no image. An attractive blue lower section matches the blue handles.

This versatile double-sided 100% cotton throw can keep you cozy in cooler weather or be used as a display on a table.

Tote bag and throw.

Magnets

We have just added these decorative magnets to our Gift Shop. They are castings from historic gravestones, with symbolism based in love, life, and the awareness that time is fleeting. Their imagery is everlasting.

Books

Spend some time perusing the books in our Gift Shop.

Are you interested in images and tales from Dedham’s historic past, Civil War letters from three brothers back to their family in Dedham, Mother Brook canal, the Old Village Cemetery, postcards, maps, and more? You’ve come to the right place!
