New this year! Welcome to the Dedham Haunted Walking Tour!
For 50 minutes or so, participants will walk a route that will include local “hot” spots where you’ll hear about stories and legends that are most fitting for this dark and eerie season. Our route will cover less than a mile and more than 375 years of Dedham’s haunted and mysterious past.
Tours will start and end at the Museum, where seasonal refreshments and a themed mini exhibit—in the “spirit” of the season are included. Tickets also include entry in the drawing of a Halloween-themed basket. All for only $20!

Dedham Museum & Archive is delighted to share the news that the Holiday Trains are returning for the 2024 Holiday Stroll!
Watch O-Scale locomotives running along the tracks as steam engines blow smoke and diesel engines race to deliver their passengers and holiday loads. Among the trains’ destinations are a main street aglow with lights and shops, all blanketed with a fresh winter snowfall.
The gift shop will be open, where visitors will find an array of ornaments, Dedham Pottery designs from the Potting Shed, puzzles, books, and more. Plus, there will be raffle baskets with goodies for the entire family!
Our annual events include the March Wine Party, June Soirée, Summer party, Tavern Night, Holiday Trains, and more. Check the site regularly for updates!
