The History of Taxation
Returning speaker, Dr. Richard Scott, explored the history of British taxation in the Colonies, how this taxation spurred the Revolution, and how United States taxation has subsequently evolved through the following 250 years. The majority of this talk focuses on the 20th century.
The Speaker Series is held at the Museum, located at 612 High Street, Dedham, and begins at 7:00 p.m.
